I have always had a strong interest in animals of all kinds. As a teenager I worked at a
pet store for over 4 years before getting a degree in Veterinary Assisting. I completed
my internship and continued to work for the same clinic until leaving to raise my family.
I research the history of
the dogs in my breeding program and try to select those with good temperaments
as well as a strong genetic background. When they reach two years of age they
undergo hip evaluations through the OFA.
Our dogs are part of our family. The pups are handled right from the start and are raised
indoors with lots of individual attention. Before they are placed in their "forever homes"
they receive at least one set of vaccinations, are dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian.
If possible they will have their dew claws removed.
Pet puppies are sold with limited registration and with spay/neuter contracts. Responsible
pet ownership includes preventing unwanted or unsound puppies. Limited registration means
that the puppy is registered with AKC, however, you would not be able to compete in
conformation classes or to register any offspring this puppy were to produce. I sell with
limited registration and a spay/neuter contract to reduce the risk of someone using this
puppy in a puppy mill situation now, or in the event that it is placed in a different home
in the future.
No puppy shall be knowingly sold to a pet store, puppy broker or puppy mill.

My rabbits are fed Pen Pals rabbit food and receive timothy
hay daily. On occasion they also receive limited amounts of
oatmeal, rolled wheat, flax, carrots and apples.
I am currently working on several projects with my holland
lines: Red hollands, Chocolates, Tris, and Chins (and trying for
Lynx). I also have Torts and
Otters. I am also working on Astrex
coated rabbits.
